 Today we will pull down our second quotation from the newsela article and write a lead in and citation for it . Then we will write an analysis sentence and afterwards a closing sentence for the paragraph.

We moved our topic sentence over and then pulled our first quotation and wrote a lead in for it that answered at least two of the following about the quote: Who, What, When, Where, Why or How. We then put our intext citation after the quote. We colored the lead in yellow, the quote green, and the intext citation pink.
