To all 7th-grade La Mesa Families,
The Hart District administers a math placement exam to 7th-grade students to help determine their placement in the appropriate math course - either Math 7 or Accelerated Math 7.
The majority of incoming 7th-grade students have already taken this test at the end of their 6th-grade year in preparation for their matriculation to La Mesa Junior High.
If your child did not take the math placement exam in 6th-grade or is a new enrollee to La Mesa, you would have received an email notifying you about this and a link to sign up your child for our 7th-grade Math Placement exam which will take place at La Mesa Junior High on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM.
Students who sign up to take the 7th-grade Math Placement exam should arrive 10 minutes before the event and report to the Multi-purpose Room (MPR).
