About

NJHS is one of the highest honors that can be awarded to a middle school student. More than just Honor Roll, NJHS serves to honor students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, character, citizenship, leadership, and service. Students are granted membership if they earn a 3.5 GPA (or higher) in the two previous quarters, all citizenship and work habit grades are S or O, and complete 10 hours of community service. Only 8th graders are eligible during the Fall semester. Membership will open up to students again during the Spring, and at that time, 7th graders will be eligible to apply.
Applications at the beginning of the semester.
Meetings are once a month during Tutorials.
